Billy is a Boston cop, nephew of President Eisenhower, who is drafted into the Army, and finds himself in a position to help his uncle by doing some police-type investigation. The mission Billy finds himself studying is cooperating with Norwegian soldiers. There are spies, counterspies, traitors, heroes, and all of the elements a rousing World War II romantic drama might want.

A bit wordy and earnest, but well worth sticking with for any reader with an appetite for historic mystery fiction.
