Accompanied by Elsa's sister, we visited the park on a perfect spring day. A partner to the famous San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park's major mission is to breed threatened and endangered animals in hopes of returning them fo the wild. The reintroduction of the California condor is one of their successes. Some animals while not endangered are simply fun to watch -- notably the flamingos.
