The production of wines is the major industry of Sonoma County, north of San Francisco. During our visits to our friend in Windsor, we have been observing the cycle of grape growing and harvest. The first photos here were taken on drives through the Dry Creek and Alexander Valley vineyards. Near Windsor, Santa Rosa Community College has established a demonstration vineyard at the Kendall-Jackson winery. Photos of individual varietals are some of the grapes in their display.
