Our hotel is located in a business park in which the developers have preserved the natural surroundings. They have added walking paths and have even provided a small waterfall and feeding station for ducks and swans. In the early morning, the swans make excellent models for us to practice our photography. The second group of pictures was taken five days after the first. The male swan ruffled his feathers in a threatening pose to protect the cygnets. By standing on the far bank of the pond where we were partially hidden by the trees, we seemed to pose less of a threat, and we were able to capture the whole family of swans swimming together.
