     Catharine Hicks was born in 1765.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Hicks and Melvina Cole.¹ Catharine Hicks married John Skaggs, son of Thomas Skaggs, on 14 February 1786 at Old Greenbrier Baptist Church, Monroe County, Virginia.² Catharine Hicks was buried after 1850 at Old Greenbrier Baptist Church Cemetery, Alderson, Greenbrier County, Virginia.¹ She died after 1850 at Monroe County, Virginia.¹

     Brewster Higley was born circa 1681 at Windsor, Connecticut Colony.¹ He was the son of John Higley and Hannah Drake.^1,2 Brewster Higley married Esther Holcomb, daughter of Nathaniel Holcomb and Mary Bliss, on 17 February 1708/9 at Simsbury, Connecticut Colony.¹ Brewster Higley died on 5 November 1760 at Simsbury, Connecticut Colony.¹

     Eunice Higley was born on 19 September 1827 at Windsor Township, Ashtabula County, Ohio.¹ She married Albert H. Bell, son of Simpson Bell and Mary Hannah Joy, on 1 May 1851 at Ashtabula County, Ohio.¹ Eunice Higley died on 9 January 1899 at Ashtabula County, Ohio, at age 71.¹

     Hannah Higley was born on 17 December 1717 at Simsbury, Connecticut Colony.¹ She was the daughter of Brewster Higley and Esther Holcomb.² Hannah Higley married Elijah Owen circa 1737.¹ Hannah Higley died on 25 January 1806 at age 88.¹

     John Higley was born before 12 August 1649 at Frimley, Surrey, England.¹ He was baptized on 12 August 1649 at Frimley, Surrey, England.¹ He married Hannah Drake, daughter of John Drake and Hannah Moore, on 9 November 1671 at Windsor, Connecticut Colony.² John Higley died on 25 August 1714.¹
