     Ruth Thompson was born circa 1705.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Thompson and Hannah Unknown.^2,1 Ruth Thompson married William Thompson, son of Isaac Thompson and Mary Holmes, on 19 October 1732 at Westerly, Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation.³
