     Catherine Chapin was born before 1626 at England.² She was baptized in 1626 at Berry Pomeroy, Devonshire, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Samuel Chapin and Cicely Unknown.³ Catherine Chapin married Nathaniel Bliss, son of Thomas Bliss and Margaret Hulins, on 20 September 1646 at Springfield, Massachusetts Bay Colony.¹ Catherine Chapin married Thomas Gilbert on 30 June 1655.¹ Catherine Chapin married Samuel Marshfield on 28 December 1664 at Springfield, Massachusetts Bay Colony.¹ Catherine Chapin died on 4 February 1712 at Springfield, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2
